Vans BMX Pro Cup 2022 Event Branding
Description
The Vans BMX Pro cup is a series of BMX events with stops around the world. For this project I wanted to create all aspects that would go into an event of this scale. The concept for the series is Jungle BMX, as in the past there have been fun themes for the posters of this event. I thought “What would be the coolest place to put a skatepark?” and came to the conclusion that a jungle would be a pretty awesome spot for a bowl. From there I created and produced all the pieces with that theme in mind and finished with one of the favorite things I’ve worked on.
Deliverables
Art Direction, 4 Event Posters, Apparel Design, Shoe Design (Sk8-hi's and Old Skool Models), Shoe Packaging Design, Motion Graphics, Event Booklet, Website.
Process
This was my first time doing apparel or sneaker design, so it took me a while to figure out what looks good and what doesn’t work. I had a lot of fun going through the process of figuring out this design and this video shows a bit how it all came together from the colors to the design.
